APHL & People’s Park Tower

A Celebration of 50 Years in our Community

People’s Park Tower (PPT) Ltd., one of the first mature adult apartment buildings in the Maritimes, opened its doors 50 years ago in 1975, added an extension in 1985, and linked it to Camden Park Terrace (CPT) in 2002. It continues to hold the title of the largest apartment complex in Greater Moncton.

The creation of Atlantic Peoples’ Housing Ltd. (APHL), an organization which provided enterprise management and associated services to PPT, went hand-in-hand with the establishment of the building. Over the following decades, APHL became a regional leader in developing, constructing, and managing residential co-operative housing, non-profit housing, condominiums, and market sub-divisions in the Maritimes.
